As Long as I Stay

This record was written on a day when the future felt uncertain — not in crisis, but in quiet question.

Malibu.

Ocean air.

Names traced into sand and taken back by the tide.

There was no revelation.

No breakthrough.

Only a body asking to slow down.

The sand adjusted and held.

Honey ginger tea warmed a tired heart.

Evening arrived without announcement.

Nothing dramatic.

Something settled.

This album contains two versions of the same song — the same words, carried through different emotional landscapes.

The first leans into minimal dark lo-fi — restrained rhythm, low synth, subtle trap undertone. Night drive energy. Calm, contained, steady.

The second, Shore, moves inward. Soft piano as spine. Warm pads. Ocean-like ambience. Subtle strings rising gently after the first chorus. No urgency. No heavy percussion. Just breath, dusk, and quiet belonging.

Both versions hold the same truth:

Life does not demand spectacle.

It waits.

And as long as we do not turn away —

as long as we stay —

it moves quietly with us.
